National and International Relations

Last modified: 17. November 2022

The international activity of the Institute of Technology is illustrated by the cooperation programmes established with foreign companies (AGCO USA, Claas DE, National Instruments USA, etc.). Our educational relationships are likewise intense mainly due to various EU programmes.

As a result of the Erasmus mobility programmes, our lecturers regularly travel abroad to give lectures and we host lecturers for short courses in reverse. The Institute is also involved in 2 CEEPUS networks and is also active in international professional organisations (EurAgEng, CIGR, etc.). Work carried out in the last few years in the framework of CASEE (Association of Central European Universities of Life Sciences) - coordination of technical training and research programmes - and the expert work on the FAO e-Agriculture programme turned out to be particularly important.

The number of foreign students has increased in the courses mainly as a result of the Institute’s active
involvement in major international programmes (Science Without Borders, Stipendium Hungaricum,
Erasmus Mundus, Campus Hungary).
